I started my medical abortion today. I took mifepristone yesterday, 24 hours later which was 2pm today I inserted 4 misoprostol tablets and waited. At 5pm I started very heavy bleeding with the loss of clots, when I wiped the tablets were on the toilet paper but I was assured that this was ok as the medicine would've been absorbed into my bloodstream and that the heavy bleeding and clots were a sign that they were working. My kit came with another 2 misoprostol tablets that you can use 3 hours after using the first lot however I haven't used them yet and was meant to use them at 6pm. The advisor said since I was bleeding and losing clots it wasn't a requirement. Will it still work if I don't use the second set of tablets. I'm still bleeding a lot with clots and cramping.
