Second abortion help

I think I may be pregnant again after having a abortion previously.

My main concern is having my appointment with bpas on phone and me getting judged. Does anybody have previous experience in multiple abortions. I feel so much worse this time than originally as I'm ashamed of myself for letting it happen again.

Many thanks for any kind advice

So sorry to hear you're going through this.

I don't personally. Don't you worry yourself,do what's best for you.

Feel free to PM if you'll like to talk.

I've had 2 abortions - still can't really believe it - & went through all the thoughts, shame etc.. that you mention so I really feel for you, it's a tough place to be.

What I can promise is that, for me, at no point was I judged, everyone at bpas were so lovely - not one single person said anything about the previous abortion when it was mentioned & I didn't feel treated any differently. They are not there to judge, they're they to support women in their right to chose to end a pregnancy. I really hope you have the same experience I had. Here if you need anything 😊

That was my fear too and I wasn't judged whatsoever. They just wanted to know it wasn't in the last 3 months.

I had one medical & one surgical but had the option of either. Have you done a test yet to know for definite?

Guilt27 · 21/02/2024 19:13

No testing tomorrow, did u have ur surgical abortion after the medical one? X

Guilt27 · 21/02/2024 19:14

Hey OP,

Please don't worry, nobody is going to judge you especially not the professionals at BPAS. These things happen and choices need to be made, they are a part of life.

I've had 2 abortions albeit 9 years apart but I did have the same fears as you yet I received such excellent care both times and was never made to feel shame for my situation. Nobody knows your circumstances and nobody has a right to judge.

Good luck with your appointment and take care of yourself

Yes, medical first then surgical for the second (sometimes still can't quite believe I've been there twice).

As others have said, if you do turn out to be pregnant & chose abortion I had a really positive experience with BPAS, they never once made me feel awkward, uncomfortable or ashamed - they were lovely & caring
