Surgical abortion Midlands

Good evening,
Today found out I'm pregnant, thinking it's about 3-4 weeks. Can anyone advise how long to wait to get in for surgical abortion? Are there long waiting times?

Yes I think generally the waiting times are several weeks. Several years ago when I had a surgical termination we paid privately and only had to wait just over a week from the first telephone appointment to the procedure (also from the Midlands but went to MSI Bristol) I was also unfortunately 14 weeks by then so didn't want to wait any longer.

If I go privately, could I possibly get in sooner?

It was certainly an option for me where I went but I don't know about other organisations, you'd need to contact them. First you will have a phone consultation then a face to face appointment then the procedure the following week (this was at Marie Stopes)

Thank you. I've sent msi an online request earlier this evening, so I'll wait for their phone call in the next 48hrs. Hopefully I'll be able to get in soon.
