I'm 41 weeks tomorrow with my 3rd child and I am soooooooooo fed up of this waiting game.

I know I should be grateful to be in this situation but I'm so done.

X2 failed sweeps (although the first by a student midwife I don't think was actually a sweep)

Cervix was posterior and firm on Wednesday (now Saturday) had pains/cramping in the early
Hours and now all stopped (12:40pm lunch time)

I have another sweep Monday.

When it's my 3rd child I never thought I'd be this late and want to cry

I don't expect anyone to be able to do anything I just wanted to moan :-(

just sending you so much love. such a hard time as you expect a few weeks late but then it just gets horrible and emotional as you just want them in your arms safe and well. i went 42 weeks over but after 41 was so stressed about it all that my mum had to come and stay as i just couldnt deal with it anymore! hope they arrive soon as i am sure every hour feels like a lifetime x

Thank you! Makes me feel less crazy!!! I had my first born 8 days early...second born was 8 days late...so I've been this late before but I'm 32 now and it feels hard! I have induction booked for Thursday which id like to avoid...so worst case 5 days to go!! Come on baby :-(

I'll write more later as I've got all 3 near me 😂

Have you tried sex? It's the only thing I didn't try as hubby had chicken pox. Just wait it's nearly over. I was induced on the drip. I guess it's expected to have low oxytocin especially when we've got our hands full with 2 kids. Don't worry the 3rd one fits right in 😂

Sex is the last thing I want right now lol even if I do wanna have this baby!! So I have always had my waters break as a first sigh of labour...1st one it happened and nothing started so was induced, 2nd 41+1 and waters broke then contractions etc....but TONIGHT I'm sure I'm having contractions lol since I posted this I've had them every 17/20 mins apart lasting 40 seconds or so! So I could be at the beginning...

I hope so!! Knowing my luck I'll wake up in the morning and it will have all stopped! Shall keep ya posted xx

Hope the baby came is coming! we did everything pineapple, curry, sex- the latter was certinainly not enjoyable and didnt work! fingers crossed they are in your arms asap x

Contractions came and went all night and now stopped totally - why is this happening!?! :-( I just want to meet my little mystery guest xx

really sorry that theyve stopped- maybe worth phoning the hospital and speaking to a midwife? good luck!

Reading this I guess I need to be patient! However as this isn't my first child I really thought my body would do it's thing
