Bleeding after abortion

Had a medical abortion 2.5 weeks ago. I bled heavy the week after it and then it was very light second week but for the past 4 days iv been really heavy again! Rang hospital I had procedure and they say could be my period!! But iv read you don't get your period until 4-6 weeks after??? Anybody experienced something similar?
I go on holiday in 2 weeks and worries I'll still be bleeding!! 😫

I had the same please don't worry it's normal. I bled a week after the light bleeding started and then had spotting for quite a few days and then got my period a few weeks later.
