Taken first abortion pill and regretted it!

I’m just wondering if anyone is in the same boat as me and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy and baby. I took the first oral abortion pill on Saturday and instantly regretted it! I phoned bpas right away they said do not take the second lot of tablets you could still be fine lots of women do this and go on to have healthy babies and there is no chance of any birth defects but is change of misscarrage. I’ve rang this morning to book an early scan I’m booked in next Monday as the lady said anything could happen in this next week so best to wait a week. She said there is a 50/50% chance the baby can survive and be ok. Please give me some success stories ❤️ my heart is going to break if all doesn’t go ok 😭 I’m 7 weeks 3 days gestation.

I did this with DD2. I took the first pills and instantly regretted it. I had some light bleeding and cramping after so assumed I had lost her, but went for a scan and there she was! She is 1 now, absolutely no issues, and a happy, healthy little girl, way ahead on milestones. Pregnancy and birth was straightforward.

Of course I can't guarantee the same for you, but it's entirely possible. Sending you positive thoughts

Hi I did the same, took the tablets at 10w 2d and had light bleeding for the following week, starting off brown and eventually going red. I had a private reassurance scan around 10w 5d and saw baby still had a heartbeat and was doing good. The bleeding continued for about a week but did clear up. I'm now 32w 2d and counting down the days til due date!

I really hope I’m lucky like you I’m preying everything is ok I haven’t had any bleeding or cramping yet took the tablet on Saturday morning. I have all my pregnancy symptoms still to so I’m hoping that’s a good sign. I’ve just booked a reassurance scan for Wednesday then have one at the hospital next Monday too. So happy your baby is doing well how lovely ❤️ gives me some hope to xx

I’m getting cramps now on and off not bleeding yet. I’m preying all is ok I can’t wait for Wednesday to see so I can put my mind at ease or try and get over the huge mistake I’ve made 😢

Why? For providing emergency life-saving treatment to babies for women who regretted taking the abortion pill?
The General Medical Council reversed the ban against him before it even went to court and the women who he helped publicly defended him.

I just do not understand why anyone would be against abortion pill reversal.

hope all went well with baby! I’m in the same position so just worried about potential effects to the baby

This is such a beautiful vulnerable post,
right now I’m 11 weeks took 4 misoprostol tablets vaginally only. and went for a checkup there’s a heartbeat and everything looks good for now. I’m just scared if the pills I took will make it grow with some deformation.

update: they seen some complications. My baby has ectopia cordis which opens from the stomach to heart. The ultrasound is so graphic and very sad to look at. They said it’s not the pills I took nothing I ate. It’s just really bad luck. I am so sad at this moment but I just had to update you guys, because you guys were my support system over the past weeks. The survival rate is very low as 3 doctors told me. so I booked a D&C just on the waiting list now.

Aww it’s ok. thank you so much for sharing your sympathy. This page helped me so much through my process I did my D&C 2 days ago and it went smooth I’m so glad they were able to fit me in at 14 weeks. if not it would of been a two day process. I’ve been crying on and off each day. I just try to keep busy that’s how I keep sane.

Hey how did you get on was baby ok?

I am 6 weeks 4 days I took Mifepristone Friday night instantly regretted it. I rang the clinic Saturday and they advised me to go early pregnancy unit to get scan.
Got appointment today went for scan and was told there is no heart beat I’m absolutely gutted and feel so guilty. I was hoping for good news after reading people’s stories on here of them taking all pills and baby being born healthy.
The hospital said I’m having a delayed miscarriage I have to go back tomorrow for another scan to confirm.

i have been getting cramps all day and this afternoon started to get very light bleeding.
