Abortion Pill

Hello. I received my abortion pills today and I won’t lie it’s sent my anxiety levels through the roof.
I know deep down this is the correct choice but I am so terrified of going through this.
I was planning on taking the first tablet before work but keep reading horror stories of ppl throwing up/feeling unwell.
Would love any support, feeling very alone right now.
Would ppl recommend to take the first tablet on a day off work instead? I was planning on calling in poorly the following day to continue with the other tablets. So scared of the pains I feel I’m going to faint even thinking of it. TIA

I am about 5/6 weeks. I have thought with head and heart. We have two very young children already and maybe some years back a third would of been great but we love our small unit and emotionally/financially we don’t feel we could cope with a third xxxx it’s been bit of shock to us this pregnancy. Was not planned xxxx

The main thing scaring me is the procedure itself. Can be a real wuss with sickness and mainly vomit

hey, i went through this last wednesday and i completely understand how you’re feeling. the process itself went way smoother than i thought it would. i didn’t have any sickness whatsoever! i was also very worried about being sick. the only time i felt faint was just after i stood up after passing the pregnancy and to be honest, i think that was more shock than anything else.

since the days that have passed i’ve barely been able to sleep or eat as all i can think about is the abortion so please just make sure this is the right choice for you. i wish i could take mine back!

good luck xxx

I am so sorry you’re feeling like this now. Sending hugs. I know this decision is what is right for me and my family. This pregnancy would be high risk and I just can’t put my body and my families wellbeing through this. Thinking of you and hope you are okay. Xxxx

I was in the exactly the same position as you. With 2 small children already, i knew we wouldn't cope financially or mentally. I knew I physically couldn't go though pregnancy again as it would have been high risk.

I'm 2 weeks on from taking the tablets. First I took at the clinic. 36 hours later I took the next 4 vaginally plus ibuprofen and an anti sickness tablet. My husband was off to look after our children so I stayed in bed. I started to bleed approximately 1.5 hours later. Cramps were painful but bearable and not like contractions. I just kept on top of pain relief and rested as much as I could.

My bleeding has stopped today and I will take post termination test on Friday to confirm everything has worked. However I assume it has as my symptoms stopped the day after I took tablets . If you an any questions please send me a private mail.
Good luck xxx

Hi, I've made a appointment for this too. Exactly the same reason as you.
Can i just ask, did you have to have a scan? Have you got your tablets already?
