when does period return?

Hi all

Im so so nervous i had a termination on July 15th and two weeks later had sex with my husband after a negative test and getting the all clear. We used protection obviously but i just have such trauma and PTSD in terrified i’m pregnant again. my period hasn’t come back yet and i’m too scared to take a test because it might say pregnant from last time. how long does it take to get a period again? i’m really starting to panic

It's been 5 weeks in your case, and the period is usually back in 4-8 weeks from what i've read. You used the protection so don't worry - you're fine.

update got my period and holy moly it’s intense, not so much the pain but the flow. went through 20 pads today
