Hi all. Looking for some positive stories please! I'm having an abortion at home tomorrow (7 weeks) and iv read so many stories about retained pregnancy after and I'm just wondering how common that is? Also when did you start bleeding after taking the tablets? Thank you

Hey, I went through this last night. Have you taken the first pill? The first went fine for me with absolutely no side effects. I took the 4 pills last night at around 6.30pm along with some ibuprofen and paracetamol by 7pm I had some cramping and around 8.45pm the bleeding started. I passed the pregnancy by 9.20pm and now feel like i’ve just got a heavy period! I’m the most anxious person in the world and built this up to be the worst experience ever but it was nowhere near as bad as I thought it’d be! Can’t comment on the retained pregnancy part but I just thought I’d let you know my experience. I hope you’re okay xx

Thank you for replying! I took the first pill Thursday evening so taking the other 3 this morning. I'm so nervous but hoping I'm like you and it's not as bad as I think xx

Hi I made the phone call this morning to go ahead and receive the pills. A mix of emotions more on actually taking them. Would you need time off work during?

It went ok thank you! Feel so much better today already ☺️ didn't notice the pregnancy pass but hopefully it worked xx

Hey! The first pill you don't need any time off I was fine for that but the next ones that you take 24-48 hours after you'll definitely need that day off as you will want to be near a toilet. I had them yesterday and I was on and off the toilet most the day and then in bed the rest but then today I am absolutely fine so I could have gone to work today for sure xx

Hey. Just wondered how you are now after your abortion? My bleeding seems to still be heavy just wondering if you are similar? Feels like it's never going to end!

hey! hope you’re okay and aren’t too traumatised by the process 😔 my bleeding has basically stopped now but still comes on every now and again. the last 3 days were horrific though! i find it weird how it’s suddenly gone really light for me xx
