Royal Free or Barnet

Hello.
I am a first time mum to be. Currently I’m at Royal Free for my antenatal appointments. I was told Barnet does not do them. I have been asked to think about my birth plan and I am now considering whether Royal Free or Barnet would be best. I want to be in a midwife led unit attached to the hospital (as I have not yet said completely no to an epidural).
Distance wise they are the same but I understand that Barnet has more parking available. There is basically no parking at Royal Free. We went in for reduced movements at midnight and had to park on a side street away from the hospital.

I was just wondering what people’s experiences have been at either hospital.
I note that Royal Free’s maternity has a ‘improvement required’ rating whilst Barnet has a ‘good’ rating for maternity (CQC).

many thanks 😊

Hey @FirstTimeMum691 , sorry I dont have an answer to you question, instead I wanted to ask you how is your experience so far with Royal free? I am in a similar boat, but unable to decide which hospital to pick for antenatal and delivery?
