Medical abortion & high temp

Hi Iv completed the medical abortion today which was for me very painful. Everything seems to have settled down now but during the procedure I had uncontrollable shakes. Theyv now stopped but I do have a high temperature. Could this be normal? I'm a health anxiety worrier and worrying like hell.

I was told I’d get a raised temperature. I completed the last 2 tablets last night and woke up in absolute agony at 3am feeling like my back passage was going to explode…sorry for graphic detail. But I was dripping in sweat.

Im not really bleeding much at all, just clots when I go to the loo.

Oh really! I wasn't told anything about a temperature so it scared me as I'm thinking the worst! Sepsis!

I'm feeling better then earlier, it's been a hell of a day! Still bleeding / slight cramping.

Only had a few clots and not much blood. I’m so anxious as don’t think it’s worked.

I got given a number too ring.

I rang at midday and they said to potter around house to bring it on….which I have, cleaned bathroom, hoovered, even stood for 2 hours ironing! Just 2 clots and nothing much else.

They did say to call back tomorrow if still the same. Just so upset as I really didn’t want this to drag out x

Thank you so much. Yesterday was just mental torture and I felt like my body was desperately holding onto the pregnancy. The places my head went to was dark.

I made myself a lovely tea last night….for some reason I really wanted to make my own burgers! I tried to relax as much as I could to take my mind off everything.

My partner found it hard as he was desperate for me to curl up but I couldn’t. Anyway, I fell asleep watching tv….I couldn’t tell you what I’ve watched this week as I’ve thought it’s been helping me but if you asked me to recall the plot or story, I wouldn’t be able to!

Woke up this morning, wouldn’t dare go straight to the loo as didn’t want to feel that overwhelming feeling of failure….by the time I made the kids packed lunches I had to and felt utter relief to see things have finally started.

Ive not got any cramps like I had yesterday and no pain….completely not what I’d expected but just shows everyone is so different x
