msi surgical abortion

Hi all,
Found out I was unexpectedly pregnant last week. I just had a phone call with MSI and i'm booked in for my pre-assessment next week. Just wondering, could I hear anyone's experiences on the wait time-frames? I really really can't deal with this for much longer, and I'm scared and waiting is so so horrid.
Any advice/experiences are welcome, good or bad.

hiya, from my call it was just over a week they don’t usually like to go more than 2 weeks but sometimes can’t be helped xx

fingers crossed it's the same for me, i had a call today, pre assessment next tuesday just so so scared x

Aww fingers crossed! I literally had my surgical today and my god I wish I hadn’t read stories as that just made it worse. I know everyone is different with pain but it was over within minutes and all I felt was uncomfortable not any pain, any questions please ask away xx

@Porter2012 was you awake then? I am optimistic for unconscious sedation. Glad all went well. Hope you are feeling okay x

thankyou, I hope you're okay and I hope you feel okay too! I'm just so nervous - I have uni to deal with and I dont wan't to be having too much time off in regards to recovery, which i'm nervous for. i think its also the guilt too tbh, this isn't something i want to do at all but i have to and i just feel so so horrid x

Yeah I had local, whole process was 10 mins walking into the room to leaving, I think there is far too many horror stories because it was not what like I had read xx

Oh bless you, i has local left after an hour to drive home and I’m back to work tomorrow, the guilt and waiting around is the worst but you are doing wats best for u and that’s all that matters, it’s so quick I was like is it actually done and they laughed and said yes xx

thankyou so much , you have put my mind at ease! i have read lots of horror stories and people needing blood transfusions after and all that gory stuff so i think ive made it out to be worse in my had than it will be xx
