Medical Termination - no bleeding?!

I'm about 5 wks pregnant by last period & confirmed faint blue line on test. We've decided now isn't the right time for us to have another baby (we already have 3 young children, 1 suspected ASD). I called BPAS & they sent a medical termination kit in the post. I took the first pill on Tuesday, the 4 tablets (not by mouth) Weds at 12:30 and the last 2 at 4:30 yesterday.
I'm so worried as I've not had any bleeding. I'm not even sure if I've had cramping because I took codeine & it numbed everything.
I've called BPAS & they said to wait the full 24 hours & call them again. I guess I'm looking for others experiences & if the bleeding was delayed but still successful? Anybody know what happens next if I've not bled by 24 hours today?
Thank you! x

Hello, this won’t be particularly helpful but I am in exactly the same situation as you. I took the first lot of Misoprostol last night, no signs of bleeding or cramping so I took the extra two tablets 4 hours later as instructed on the leaflet (this was at 4am). I haven’t had any bleeding or cramping still. I called the clinic this morning, they told me to wait the 24 hours and call back in the morning if still nothing.. they have however booked me in for a scan for Monday. I am thinking they will probably do the same for you if no changes by tomorrow. I’ve been Googling all sorts since last night, I haven’t been able to find an awful lot of useful information that makes sense to me unfortunately. I have a funny feeling I may be having an ectopic pregnancy, I suppose that’s what the scan will determine.

Sorry I couldn’t be of much help, but I wanted to let you know that you are not alone!x

It's so frustrating isn't it? BPAS haven't told me anything further other than to call back when it's been 24 hours so I only have a couple of hours to go & still nothing. They said if I'd have had a scan i would have had 5 days to go through the termination procedure but due to no scan beforehand, it's 24 hours.
I feel the same - I've never had an ectopic before but I have a similar feeling this will be. I'm trying to read online but it's throwing further worry into the mix. How many weeks are u? I'm clinging onto the fact that I'm only about 5 wks & some people have said it takes longer to work when you're not far along

I phoned BPAS 24 hours later & they said we'll get you booked in for a scan. About 6 hours later I started bleeding. It felt like a heavy period that followed for about 5 or 6 days. BPAS said a scan wouldn't be needed. Wishing you all the best x
