Abortion and blood thinners

I have had by phone call consultation with my local NHS, they only offer the medical abortion, however I felt scared after as the nurse said because of my age 41, children I've already had and the fact I smoke, l will have to have blood thinning injections before my procedure.
Has anyone else had this, I have the worst health anxiety and hate any form of medication so I'm so worried.
Thank you.

It's normal for a procedure and they're just small injections into the abdominal tissue. They sting but otherwise fine
