I took the first set today at 10am, I’ve been getting cramps and sickness.

I am taking the oral ones tomorrow, I am so scared of the pain. How long should the pain last/the worst of the symptoms? Thank you

For me I had awful cramps 24 hours after the first tablet which subsided after about 20 minutes, maybe TMI but once the cramps started I just had to go and sit on the loo and I felt something pass and after that the pain almost completely subsided, the rest was genuinely fine like normal period cramps. I've read on here it seems most people take the oral tablet and then the pessaries a day later but I was told to do the pessaries 2 days later so I got a bit of a shock when the middle day was quite painful. I was really prepared for the worst after reading some horror stories about total blood baths but it was ok actually. I'd booked to take the day off work in preparation for the day I did the pessaries but actually I could have worked - but it's a wfh desk job that I do, I wouldn't have been ok stood up all day because it was a tiring experience.

When that first cramps hit me I took the painkillers I'd been provided and they helped massively then didn't need to take them again, after 20 mins I managed to get up and go back about my evening. Hope it's all going ok for you.
