BPAS abortion

Hello.

I found out yesterday I am pregnant very unplanned and unwanted so have made the decision to terminate.

I track my periods and was few days later knew something wasn't right but this would make me about 4-5 weeks pregnant.
I have sent a BPAS request form and just wanting any advice who has gone through similar on the process of how long in total it took and how it went.

I didnt have no effects from the second log of tablets, i did read if you take them orally that can make you feel sick etc which is why i took the other route and i also thought it would be quicker, but clearly not lol

@Allsquishedup I've took the other 4 vaginally about an hour ago and already there patches of blood and mild cramps. Fingers crossed it progresses to more. I was going to wait but glad I didn't as at the moment it's bearable xx

@Allsquishedup I hope it is. Cramps have totally gone but it has only been an hour. I don't know why I'm scared to go to toilet I don't know what I'm expecting x

My cramps lasted about an hour and werent too bad either, if it helps i have jus had clots nothing recognisable, i suppose cuz we are so early

@Allsquishedup I went to toilet and bleed and then I wiped there was a big clot with different bits in it so I can only assume that that was it or part it x

@Allsquishedup yes done the second lot and bleeding regularly more so when I stand up or go toilet.

How are you getting on? X

Im feeling alot better, i have still got quite a heavy flow and still passing some clots, more so when im on the toilet so i think im going to cancel my scan as it must be working and follow through with the test 3 weeks later

@Allsquishedup cramping pretty much stopped after I passed a large clot lastnight and bleeding is very light in comparison to yesterday so I suppose that's a good sign? X

Thats good, glad to know it worked. Im ok still bleeding so im pleased. Im going to start my contraceptive pill today so i dont have to go through this again

@Allsquishedup How's everything with you now?. I'm cramping ever so slightly and bleeding very lightly but that's it really now I want to say my nausea seems to of improved but don't know if it bit early to say that yet lol x

Im all good, a few cramps here and there but nothing major, still bleeding so im going to ring and cancel my scan when there open

I had a spare pregnancy trst from the last time and i toom it earlier and it came up negative 🙌🏻

Hi @Wilz99 have just been reading through the thread and found it very helpful. Hope you’re feeling ok.
I’ve just found out I’m pregnant. I’m 42, already have two kids (nearly 2 and 5) and definitely don’t want more. I’m kicking myself for being careless. I spent so many years in my 30s struggling to get pregnant and yet it appears I’m super fertile in my 40s. I’ve not told my husband yet but will do tonight and I’ve messaged BPAS to kick off the process. Hoping I will get a call scheduled quickly and pills posted out. I’m only 4 weeks + 1 day. Just want it over and sorted asap. I’ve had many surgeries due to miscarriages but never medical management, which is the same process, so a bit nervous about that.

@bigmistakes it's such a difficult situation to be in isn't it and when I found myself in it last Wednesday I felt like the whole world came to a blinding hult such strong negative emotions about it it. I started my treatment when my pills arrived on Friday just gone and the worst was over by late Saturday after taking the second all of the pills. I haven't felt any nausea compared to what I was feeling so I take it all as good signs and do feel it all went very smoothly other than first tablet made me vomit few hours after and felt abit unwell with that one but it all subsided in a matter of hours. It's all short term compared to carrying on with a pregnancy and adding another child to my already 3 children that's how I seen it I wouldn't of coped at all not would I of wanted to.
It's easier said than done but bpas were wonderful the lady I spoke to put me at ease immediately and was a lovely conversation.

Thanks @Wilz99 I’m glad things have gone ok for you.

I’ve felt really ill today - not sure what has caused it but have had a terrible upset stomach, chills, nausea. Don’t think it’s pregnancy related but I’ve been floored. I definitely can’t cope with another pregnancy and the anxiety and impact on my body. My success rate has been low, two babies and five miscarriages. This is my 8th pregnancy which is mad. No more.

Husband is in full agreement, we definitely don’t want another child.

my phone appt is on Tuesday, so hopefully that will be straight forward. I’m a bit nervous that they will say I need to be at a clinic as I have a history of clotting disorders and miscarriage.

Are these positive tests? I am having a freak out and convinced I definitely see a second line.

I had sex with my partner 6 weeks ago (I am on the pill - Rigivedon and use the continuous method.) I take the pill 9 weeks at a time then take a 4 day break. This has worked well and I haven’t fallen pregnant on it after using it for 2 years. i did not miss a pill and take them regulary

I had my last break at the end of June (28th - July 2nd) and I had a bleed. Started my next pack on 3rd July.

I have been really paranoid about pregnancy and I am not in the phase of my life where I am ready for kids in any shape or form.

I took pregnancy tests recently and until today they were all negative. I took one today and I might be seeing things but I see a faint line. I have attached photos. Do you think these are faint positives?

I do not want to be pregnant and would be heavily considering abortion as I am financially and mentally not able to have children right now.

thank you I have already submitted a form to BPAS just incase.

@Happyheart22 Hello! I have had a look at your pictures and I can't see any positive line from those. Check again soon as it could be to early.

I have 3 children already so when I found out I was pregnant I just couldn't go through with it again wouldn't of been fair on any of us to have another. I had a successful medical abortion in may. If you need anybody to talk to if it's the route you choose the don't hesitate to send a message. It's a difficult situation and the choice is yours and yours alone xx

Thanks. I took another clear blue to be sure. And it was negative. Hoping it stays that way.

Hi I’m waiting on my pills to be sent to me. Do you always get a text to say they will be here? She didn’t mention on the phone. She said it would take between one and three days to arrive in the post and it’s been 2. I’ve had such bad morning sickness , I am drained. X
