BPAS abortion

Hello.

I found out yesterday I am pregnant very unplanned and unwanted so have made the decision to terminate.

I track my periods and was few days later knew something wasn't right but this would make me about 4-5 weeks pregnant.
I have sent a BPAS request form and just wanting any advice who has gone through similar on the process of how long in total it took and how it went.

Im going through the same, contacted bpas sunday just gone and i have my phone consultation on sunday to hopefully get the pills sent out to me

That was quick. I sent the request form it's been 24 hours and still no email with a appointment although I have a email stating they received my form. Thinking I should ring them. All this waiting around is awful isn't it 😞

Its horrible we can go through it together.. i actually rang them and made the appt that way and didnt want to wait around x

I really want to ring but it says not to before the amount of time stated could be up to 48 hours. Im currently home alone with my 3 children my partner is away with work and his parents are coming over sat till weds that I was very much looking forward to but I am now not as I feel like crap and have to fake a smile for few days it's to draining. Yes we can go through it together my partner is only person that knows I don't want to talk to anybody I know about it x

My partner is the only one that knows aswell, i already have 3 children all on school and do not want or couldnt afford anymore. I had the copper which fell out (not that i realised at the time) i didnt use the online form, im sure they wouldnt mind you ringing to get the ball rolling. I found them really nice when i first rang. I just want to get it out the way now i dont like waiting around

I ended up ringing after the school run and they said it would of been sent at the end of the day but I have my telephone appointment on next Thursday so fingers crossed I'm able to have them through post. Feel better already knowing when my appointment is. Sooner it's over the better as I'll be alone when I do it. Hope your phone appointment goes smoothly for you. Here if you need to chat at all at any time it's such a lonely isolating feeling isn't it xx

Im crossing my fingers i can have them through the post as the clinic is quite far from mine.. hope all goes well for you too and im here anytime to chat

Call and ask if they have any cancellations available. I found out I was pregnant Friday and submitted my online form. Called Saturday morning and was given a cancellation for the same day. I received the medication in the post today (Sunday).

I've taken the first medication now at 46 hours after I found out- brilliant service and very lovely staff.

I had my consultation over the phone yesterday morning and am now awaiting the post which will probably be Wednesday now. Hope everyone is doing ok

Yeah, it lasted about half an hour, general questions about medical health and if i understood the process, confirmed i didnt need a scan as i was sure of my dates, she was really nice

@Allsquishedup Glad you have it all in place for yourself now. Willing this week away just so I know wheels are in motion. Been hardest and worst week of my life since finding out x

I felt the same.. it will all be over soon though, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Once you have had your phone call you will feel much better as you say things are moving then. The midwife told me it would probably be Thursday i get my pack but i have not long had a text saying they will be arriving tomorrow

@Allsquishedup Just had my phone consultation she was so lovely and relaxed me alot pille should come in next few days. Have your pille arrived yet? How are you getting on if so? X

Thats good to hear, they are really nice arent they. Are you feeling more relaxed now?

mine came yesterday , took the first tablet and due to take the other 4 to get things moving this afternoon. Im so relieved to get things moving.

@Allsquishedup Yeah so much more relaxed knowing it's all in motion abit more. How did you feel after your first tablet? Fingers crossed it all starts up quickly for you after the second lot of tablets. Post on here if you feel you need to talk I check this regularly x

I felt no different taking the first tablet, no bleeding or anything. I did feel really tired but i always do as having 3 kids to run around after. I have put the 4 tablets in (i have chosen to do this vaginally as i heard it can make you quite nausesous by holding it in your gums. I took one codeine as im a bit apprehensive about the pain. Thanks and you 2 , we can hand hold each other. Im just praying it works

How did it all go for you? Im 2 hours in and still no bleeding, starting to worry now it wont work

I took the 4 tablets vagginally exactly 3 days ago and im definitely worrying it hasn't worked.

Bleeding started around 4 hours after first 4 tablets (took second set orally) with mild period like cramps. I've bled since then but with only tiny little clots, nothing more than I get on period anyway.

Im definitely not as heavy as a normal period either and it seems watery compared to regular period blood. So annoying- just want it to be clearly over with!

Took a pregnancy test earlier which is still showing two lines 🙄 I know it takes a while for hcg to go though

@Allsquishedup it can take a while sometimes not everyone is as textbook as they say. How'd things going? X

@summertimesunshines How far along were you? The earlier you do it the more like a normal period It is I think as there is very little there anyways x

I was very early doors, 4 weeks 6 days. Perhaps that is why!

I would be 6 wks 2 days now, iv had light bleeding and 2 tiny clots so far. Had the last 2 tablets about half hour ago so hopefulli get things moving

Actually the pain hasnt been too bad , so far just like period cramps, nothing i havent been able to manage
