8 Weeks post MA - No Period

Morning ladies,

Looking for some reassurance / advice / experience from anyone who has ever been in a similar situation.

I had a MA in the last week of January and began back on my contraceptive pill the day after the tissue had passed. Up until about last week, I was still passing brown blood on a weekly basis but put this down to my body just clearing itself out.

I have stopped my pill as normal to allow a period to come, however there's no sign of anything coming at the moment. How long after an MA should my period come back? Is this something I need to speak to the GP/Gynaecology ward about?

Hey. I terminated over Xmas last year and my period returned 7 weeks ish later, in feb.

was your 3 week post termination test negative?

@Confusedandlost1812 Yes, 3 week termination test was negative and have been on the pill ever since.

Definitely think i'll phone the clinic tomorrow for some advice and guidance. Just strikes me as strange as i've seen on other posts people had theirs back within 7 weeks like yourself.

@Confusedandlost1812 Thanks very much! I called the clinic yesterday who advised me to phone Gynaecology at my local hospital however I had no response so looking to call my GP on Monday. I have read on another thread that someone took 10 weeks until they got a period and their doctor told them it was normal so I'm still holding out hope it may come in a few weeks on my next pill break, fingers crossed.

Hi i had 6weeks MA in may 10 and lasted for 6days.. first 3days where heavy with clots and 2nd day i passed tissue like a liver and bit hard.. i didn't see my period till the june.. and got me creeped out the doctor gave me primulot N to induced period and it came after 4days but only 2days regular period and spotting til day 6 only can wee when u wipe it.. now july i skipped period again but having cramps and back ache.. all of my HPT and blood PT in clinic are negative.. my breast feels heavy and Im sometimes gassy.. i don't know if im still pregnant or what.. im having nausea sometimes because im so stress and depressed for not seeing my period.. they did scans abdomen and pelvic all clear.. I did go another OBgyn and have a second opinion did tvs and also clear and beta hcg comes 3.67 which is also negative.. Im also having EWCM never did intercourse since my MA.. Hope someone can enlighten me also give advice im so messed up..
