3rd Period after medical abortion - advices desp needed

Hi, I had a medical abortion back in November. It wasn’t as horrendous as I had expected but it wasn’t pleasant. I had my first period after that and it was really heavy with clots but read this is quite normal and it last about 12 days but then went.
My 2nd period however was horrendous, huge clots, 2 big gushes of blood on the first day. Then it slowed ti a really heavy period for a week and then a lighter one the second week. It lasted exactly 14 days. I called the unit I went to for my abortion pills and she said it’s normal and should be fine next month. She wasn’t at all phased by what I described.
Im due on tomorrow and have been spotting for 2 days and have period pains. I’m so worried the same thing is going to happen again. Obviously worried about retained products.. can that stop and start? Can anyone reassure me or offer advice?

Hi, i am sorry its been long but can u update when did u get ur first period after abortion. And is your cycle back to normal now? I am at 4 weeks now after miso spotting brown blood but no periods i m really worried.

@Fati27 hi I had a medical abortion last year and mine took a full 6 weeks from start of my medical abortion for my period to arrive. I was expecting it between 4-6 weeks as this is what I was advised by the clinic and I was panicking when it didn’t come right up until the 5th week… but then it did arrive. It just took forever. Hope this helps
