I can’t stop overthinking about taking the morning after pill

I had drunken unprotected sex on Sunday night, he came fully inside me so I took the morning after pill on Monday around 12 hours after sex

I got my period on the 27th January and my periods are pretty regular, I have never tracked my ovulation but the flo app is telling me I should have ovulated on Tuesday. I am terrified the morning after pill won’t work in case my egg had already been released on Monday. I am in no way of a position to be pregnant or have a baby.

could anyone help with this? The wait is going to kill me until my next period as it is not due until the 22nd so I won’t be able to take a pregnancy test for another 2 weeks. I can’t even sleep right now at the thoughts of it.

I'm terrible with looking at cycles but all I can say is don't stress yourself out if it happens it happens. Sometimes accidental pregnancies happen and what can you do? I'd say test early and if you do find out you're pregnant think about what you want to do.

If you're really concerned look up some things on TikTok that can bring on your period early. I know it may sound silly but a lot of girls eat a lot of pineapple to bring their period on if it's late.
