Does anyone know if they come in discreet packaging? Do they ever send follow up mail mentioning your termination? Do they get in touch after all is said and done to see if you are ok? I don't live alone and I really can't let anyone I live with find out this is what I'm planning on doing! Any advice greatly appreciated!

It does come in discreet packaging. And I don’t think there is any follow up mail

GeraltsGirl · 01/12/2022 22:52

christmastreetime · 02/12/2022 09:56

GeraltsGirl · 02/12/2022 12:28

@GeraltsGirl
I've taken the first pill yesterday and due the second lot later today. I've not had one before. My box of medication came yesterday.

GeraltsGirl · 02/12/2022 13:01

How many weeks are you? I dont suppose you'd send me a DM and let me know how you get on and what it's like? I'm really nervous! I have my telephone call to arrange getting the pills on monday x how many days did it take them to arrive?

OP posts:
christmastreetime · 02/12/2022 13:39

Yes will DM you how it goes. Currently 7+5

After my phone call they came the next day with Royal Mail despite them being on strike. It was special delivery so assume they had agency workers or management on some rounds.

They text you with tracking of the parcel. They also don't require a signature so as long as it fits through your letterbox they just post it.

christmastreetime · 02/12/2022 13:40

I'm nervous too but I am so poorly I feel so nauseous that I just want it over now. I've never felt or been so sick Envy

GeraltsGirl · 02/12/2022 13:44

Bless you @christmastreetime it's awful the sickness mixed with anxiety I haven't eaten properly in days. I'm almost 6 weeks now, just want it to be over! I'm so pleased they post the pills to you as my local hospital does not provide abortion services so I would have to travel 30 miles to my next nearest hospital if not. I really hope everything goes well for you ❤ do you have any children already? Apparently if you've already given birth it can be faster/ easier x

@GeraltsGirl
Just stuck the 4 tabs up vaginally and now I'm just laying here freaking out

christmastreetime · 02/12/2022 17:32

Yes I've had to wait about 2 weeks from my first phone call. I haven't any children I've never wanted any and I've been so so careful. I'm 39 now and I definitely haven't changed my mind so I know it's the right thing and my partner is on board. Unfortunately he is having to work tonight so it's just me!

GeraltsGirl · 02/12/2022 21:08

@christmastreetime I've actually just started bleeding fairly heavily so think I'm miscarying! How many weeks are you? I already have 4 children and theres no way I could manage financially or physically with another, I feel awful about it but I need to concentrate on the kids I've got x DM me if you need a hand hold or anyone to talk to

OP posts:
GeraltsGirl · 02/12/2022 21:09

@GeraltsGirl
You're making the right choice x or well may have been taken out your hands I hope you're ok.

I passed the pregnancy about 3hours after the tablets. I felt a sharp pain and the urge to go to the loo and I felt it pass. I didn't look I just flushed. Then I had to rush back and then had the runs which I was warned about and then threw up. Quite the 15 mins.

I've since passed two more lots of clots. I've only had an ibuprofen I feel too sick to swallow anything else. Cramps are bad and in my back but bearable. Have my hot water bottle.

GeraltsGirl · 02/12/2022 21:28

Bless you @christmastreetime I hope the worst of it is over soon and you can get a decent nights sleep. How much heavier than a period is it? Mine may not be as heavy as yours I suppose with me being 2 weeks behind. It feels like a relief to have it taken out of my hands to be honest, but I know bleeding can be normal in early pregnancy so time will tell x

OP posts:
christmastreetime · 02/12/2022 22:44

@GeraltsGirl
I have quite heavy periods and so far it seems no worse than a normal period only I can feel clots each time I go to the loo. It's basically build up of pain, run to loo, pass some blood, wait.... happened about 5 times now and currently everything seems to be quiet and not much pain. No bleeding into the actual pad because I can tell when it's about to go so I go to the loo and push. Much easier.

They do not tell you about butt hole cramps though so don't worry if that happens. Only lasted on and off for about half hour shooting pains.

I've taken an anti nausea pill which seems to have helped and I've been sipping on lucozade as have barely eaten and what I have I threw up.

Thanks for being here tonight it's helped me x

GeraltsGirl · 02/12/2022 22:59

Thanks for the heads up! Hopefully your nausea subsides now aswell and you can go back to eating and drinking as normal x thankyou to you too, it's been really reassuring to talk to you xx

GeraltsGirl · 03/12/2022 07:56

The bleeding didn't last very long and has completely stopped now so I'm guessing I will still need the pills. I Will let you know how I get on next week x

christmastreetime · 03/12/2022 09:12

Yes let me know @GeraltsGirl and good luck with your phone appointment they are very thorough but really nice people. I slept quite well and pain is just a niggle of normal period pain and normal blood loss. And yes at last I don't feel sick! I'll come back to this thread. Take care x
