Hey :)
I came here when struggling with my decision over a MA, it helped me greatly, now I am going through the process, I wanted to share my experience, in the hope to help someone else.

I took my first tablet Friday 25th at 12 Noon.
I managed to keep it down despite having bad morning sickness. Spent the day lounging about with my partner and my son. I woke up the next morning with cramping, not as bad as period pains, more just an uncomfortable feeling.

I was worried about the time to take the second pill but decided on waiting 30+ hours. I took the second medication at 11pm Saturday 26th. Within 15 minutes, I had cramping, despite the tablets still dissolving in my mouth.
Within 45 minutes, I was bleeding.
I had a bad allergic reaction to the medication, my face went blotchy and my hands were so itchy. I was advised to take some antihistamine, which worked. So I'd definitely advise having some of those too, HOWEVER IF YOU HAVE DIFFICULTY BREATHING TOO....CALL EMERGENCY SERVICES IMMEDIATELY.
You may also get the chills, mine still havent gone, but the hot water bottle and snuggling up in bed is helping.
I also had bad sickness and havent been able to eat, only plain biscuits and water, so make sure you have something simple in. Maybe some isotonic drinks to help with losing the nutrients.

Now I dont want to scare anyone, but prepare yourself for some pain.
Depending on your pain threshold and how far you are along in the pregnancy.

I usually have quite painful periods, so I was expecting something similar to that. It was worst for me. I did not move off of the toilet for almost 4 hours! I sat with a long hot water bottle wrapped around my back and hips. Pushing helped at times, but I basically just sat there as having my cervix open actually helped it pass and the pain too.
I finally passed the embryo at 4.40am, and my bleeding has eased and the cramps are more than bearable.

I would definitely advise having some hot water bottles or heat pads. Strong painkillers and some ibuprofen too.
Hot drinks have helped now the worst pain is over, I couldnt stomach anything before that.
REST. REST. REST.

Remember, you CAN get through this, and you WILL be okay ♡

If anyone has questions or needs help/advice, do not hesitate to message me.

Most importantly, take care of YOU.

Thanks for posting I've been there where you're at. You will heal with time. I struggled with my decision for some time and with time I knew why it was necessary.

Did you see the embryo? Were the pains like contractions?

@GeraltsGirl at my 8 weeks one I just heard 2 plops in the toilet but never saw anything on the pad. I didn't dare look in the toilet because it was all full of blood. I didn't have any contractions but I did take some ibuprofen prior and was okay.
