Should I fast for abortion

hello, i am due to have an abortion today and i was wondering if you're supposed to eat or not eat when taking the pill? I cant find anything about it and im worried if i take the tablet on a non empty stomach, it wont work, and vice versa

I would advise eating something plain and relatively small such as toast. The first tablet I took did give me nausea and I was sick so didn’t eat much between that and the first set of four vaginal tablets. I was afraid I would feel sick though so didn’t eat much, but it did mean I was extremely hungry by time the pain subsided, I was eating a bowl of soup at midnight lol

Hey how did it go? was it medical or surgical and how far along was you and was it painful sorry for all the questions going through same thing and would love to hear your experience xx

hello, mine was medical i was just over 8 weeks along
i'll be honest it was painful but very manageable i was sent codeine which i took 4 of, i also had ibuprofens too
the pains only really started when i put the final misopristols in and i had bad stomach pains and back pains and general discomfort until i passed the pregnancy about 3.5 hours later

the pains eased a lot afterwards and now i am just recovering, this all happened this evening so this is a very fresh perspective!

my advice to you is make sure you have painkillers, water, snacks and hot water bottles they help tremendously, also let yourself rest and just let the medicine do its job, itll all be alright

Thank you so much, I appreciate it. I ovulated on the 5th of this month and that was the day I conceived so I'm hoping that it's more like a period rather than anything else I'm really anxious and scared but just hoping for the best🥺. I hope you're doing better now thanks again for the tips xx
