Medical abortion 7 weeks

Hi I'm just after some advice on a medical abortion. I'm currently 4 weeks and 4 days. My cycle is regular so I knew straight away I was pregnant. I know I don't want any more children, I have a 5YO and 6MO & my partner is actually booked in for the snip next month!

We've been so careful and I'm so upset and frustrated this has happened. I rang up and they have said you can not have it till you are 6 weeks is this normal? I go on holiday next weekend and I was hoping I would of managed to get it done before I went away. This now means I'll have the telephone appointment on Monday and then they have booked me to go in on Monday 24th after I'm back from holiday. It's totally ruined the holiday, it's all I'm going to be thinking about.

What happens when you go to your appointment? I'll be almost 7 weeks at this point. And the tablets that you take at home can you take this orally? I'm not keen on the idea of inserting them myself! How much bleeding should I expect? Just after some advice on the procedure!

TIA

Hi, so sorry to hear about your situation. I had a medical abortion in April still not over it. Make sure it’s definitely something you want, no judgement I’ve just been through it and it’s a hard one, I wanted an abortion also but having it done I have nothing but regret.
you go to your appointment you will take a tablet there, you will then go home, nothing will happen with first tablet. You will then take another one 24-48 hrs later. Leaving them on your gums and allow them to absorb. 1 hour later I got craps. And bleeding had started, getting sick, diarrhea couple of hours later. After first day it’s like a period for a week.
