6 week medical abortion

Hello everyone

It’s the day after my medical abortion and I just need some opinions from anyone who’s had similar, I was 6 weeks 3 days when I inserted 4 pills at 5:10pm, had cramps about 10 minutes afterwards which continued to get severe and then died off until about 7:30pm when I started to actually bleed, the bleeding was light and then went to same as a period, I never filled pads it only came out when I went to the toilet and I never passed any clots, I phoned BPAS and was told everything was normal and the fact I was bleeding was good, I inserted the final 2 pills at 8:10pm and experienced more severe cramping which then started coming in waves until I felt the need to go to the toilet around 10pm, I felt something fall out and it felt quite large, it was a large clot with a pink mass attached to it, a bit bigger than a 50p coin and it had a rough looking texture, I didn’t bother looking at it too much I just flushed, I explained what it looked like to BPAS and they’re convinced it was the pregnancy passing and that it was the pregnancy tissue surrounding the pregnancy, since it passed my pain went away a lot and very fast too so I’m assuming this means it probably was infact the pregnancy? Today I have very little cramps and moderate bleeding and for the first time in a week I have no nausea.

Any opinions welcome

Hi Op

Sorry you've had to go through this but great you're seeking advice. I just wanted to pop on to suggest you report your post and ask for it to be moved to 'pregnancy choices' where you'll get much more support from those that will have been through similar
