Hi any older mums decide to try for a baby again at age 47 or more after a pregnancy termination ?

I am 46 and will be 47 in Oct but would like to try ( aware of risks and probability of conceiving / live birth etc). I am obese (bmi 32) so working on this first for a few months before I try. I may consider a clinic for initial tests too. How about you?

I had a termination and have never gotten over it . I’d love another baby but I’m 40 now and single 😳. But I understand how you feel x

ive just turned 47 .. have 2 dc already .. wanted another child before my early 40s but parter didnt .. ever since the termination. In feb it’s all I can think about again .. partner said he would for me.. but I’m not sure he means it .. as its never really discussed..by him..have thought about fostering/ adoption .. but that’s not always an easy option either.. have done a lot of research on pregnancy at my age .. I think it would be ok to give it a go .. but still a bit scared to.. midwife said its pot luck how’s things go no matter what age.. and was seeing someone pregnant at 50 .. your definitely taking all the right steps first ..and hope it works out for you., Would this be first time to ttc ?..x

I have two other children and more for them I wanted one more. Yeah I hope it works out for you whatever you decide. To me in any case , I want to be around for a long time healthy too so also concentrating on losing the weight. I need to lose 20kg to be a healthy weight. I plan to do this with IF. I also hope to save to move some debt then next yr will pay for fertility accupuncture and also see a fertility clinic. I know egg donation is an option but not sure it is for me. I am also trying to eat healthy like nuts, beatroot juice,green juice, low carbs too

what age is your youngest child .?.. mine is 10 ..would feel like starting over again as age gap is quite big.. have worried a bit what other people would think too..but at the end of the day nothing to do with them.. do you know of many people if any that gets pregnant at our age think it’s maybe more common these days
