posted a while back when I was going through it under a different name. Terminated a very early pregnancy 2-3 weeks (4-5) at the beginning of June. All went ok. I have had 2 periods since then. However I have started to get cramps between periods and pale pink discharge. No smell but get a burning/itching and the bloody cramps. Since then I have been so aware of how my body feels I notice every ache etc. I’m now convinced (I have become super anxious over my health in the last year or so) that I have some how done so damage to myself or which is more likely have an infection. Has anyone else found themselves with issues down the line? I have a drs appointment Wednesday to do a pelvic exam so hopefully have answers. I didn’t have it on my gp record about the termination and didn’t want to but I’m going to have to say something won’t I?

Hi OP,
I am sorry to hear you’re so worried about this. It can take a while for hormones to settle after a MA even if it’s early on so the spotting etc may be due to hormone imbalance even though you’re having periods. I’m not a doctor but I imagine if you had an infection you’d have some kind of fever. Could the cramping possibly be ovulation pain? That can cause spotting as well. I’m in my second menstrual cycle since my MA end of June and both times my ovulation has been more painful that the usual dull twinge I’d usually get. At least you’ve got a docs appt on Wednesday so not too long to get some reassurance.

@scaredandanxious01 well it could be yes and I have sort of put it down to that the last time it happened but the cramps are more intense than the dull sort of ache, I’m due to ovulate in 2 days I think based on my app and yesterday was peak pain so yes it could be. CM was a bit more like EW but it’s got a bloody tinge to it which makes me wonder if im all a bit irritated up there. I never really had any issues before it or im much more aware which could be the case.
