Medical Abortion with Endo

I’ve scoured the threads on medical abortion so and to say I’m terrified is an understatement.

After an accident with my husband I’ve found myself pregnant, we are usually very careful but with two teenagers we just can’t face going back to the baby stage again.

I have the tablets coming tomorrow but I really wanted to go down the surgical route, unfortunately this would mean over an hours drive for me twice (scan then app), my husband is working abroad next week and I don’t feel I can ask anyone else to come. I also feel so horrendously sick I just don’t know what to do, I feel in such a spin so asked for the tablets and thought it would give me sometime to look for a private appointment but there seems to be nothing available even privately for weeks.

I suffer with the most horrendous periods, I didn’t mention my endometriosis as I was worried they wouldn’t let me have the tablets. I had surgery over 2years ago but still suffer very painful periods, not excessively heavy just painful to the point of fainting and being sick. Codeine doesn’t touch it and I’m waiting for a referral to a pain clinic.

Has anyone also with endo found this wasn’t too bad ?

Any advice would be great I really don’t know what to do and I’m terrified to take the tablets when they arrive.

Thanks
