Taking both abortion pills at the same time

Hello,
found out I am pregnant almost a week ago now (5 weeks along) even though I was on the pill! I had to wait a week for a telephone consultation to get the pills but I have the call tomorrow.

I have seen online that some people take both of the pills together. I will of course talk to the doctors and see what they advice and follow that.

The reason I am considering this is because I have two days off work (Monday and Tuesday) and I want to give myself enough time to recover before I have work on Wednesday (no one can cover my shift).

Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it massively different to taking them 24 hours apart?

Thank you xx

@Tilly3030 do you mean the mifepristone and the misoprostol?

As I understand, the mifepristone stops the pregnancy hormone and also aids contractions to help you expel the pregnancy.

The second lot of tablets will be to expel it.

I’ve had no side effects from the mifespristone, if you are worried about that.

I’d really follow the drs advice, to ensure the process works properly.

You are still early and so it might be easier to wait until you can take them properly?

Thinking of you.

@pepsi12345 Thank you!! I was supposed to get it yesterday but they have put it off another 10 days (going to be over 2 weeks since I've found out and been waiting to take it) as they didn't have any appointments. Just annoying as I've already fully mentally prepared myself x

Ahh that’s such a pain. The waiting is the hardest part x
