I'm so sorry you're going through this @elarky I know how stressful it is.
I went through the same thing very recently. I did eventually bleed 48 hours after taking the medication however it was nowhere near as much blood as I was expecting. When I took the pregnancy test three weeks later, lo and behold I was still pregnant.
I called the aftercare line and was referred to a clinic for a scan. This was yesterday and showed that I was still pregnant. The nurse was shocked and said it is extremely rare for the medication not to work but it some instances the body simply does not react to it the way it should.
I have now been booked in for a surgical abortion which will take place in two weeks.
I know it's scary but you are much better off knowing now rather than going through weeks of worry - I was also worried about the possibility of an ectopic pregnancy but the scan showed this was not the case, the abortion had just failed.
Please call the aftercare team and ask to be referred for a scan/check up. Everyone I have dealt with both in person and over the phone have been nothing short of wonderful. No judgement, just care and compassion.
I am also going through this on my own and there is no need for you to tell your parents if you don't want. However, you do sound younger than me so maybe the support would help.
I wish you all the best
