Termination of pregnancy

Hi mummas,

I’ve recently found out that I’m pregnant - I am incredibly early & im awaiting an appointment time and date with Marie Stopes for a termination of pregnancy. I will be roughly 4/5 weeks - I think a lot of them are still being sent in the post?

I’ve never done this before and I have nobody close to me that has, I was just wondering if anyone had any experiences they could share - good or bad.

thank you xxx

Hi @HizzyBxx I've asked for Mumsnet to move your query to the Pregnancy Choices board.

Thank you so much, I’m sorry I’m quite new to using mumsnet so don’t think I’ve navigated it properly!

I went with Nupas and they were quicker. They let me travel to pick it up in another town because I have hypermesis- life debilitating nausea and vomiting. I just couldn't cope anymore.

You can get them in the post btw.

For me, very early as well, it was all fine - one very uncomfortable cramping evening spent on the loo and then I think you have to wait about 2/4 weeks (can’t remember) before having sex again (do not recommend trying early! Ouch). It was the right choice for me and I have never regretted it. I am very grateful for the option of medical termination these days. Good luck with the process xx
