Medical abortion at 6 weeks. Hand hold please

I've just had my first tablet and will insert the pessaries tomorrow at 4pm. I definitely do not want another child (have two already). I'm very nervous for the pain etc. I've heard some horror stories from two friends and hoping it really won't be that bad!...

Hiya. How are you feeling ? Hope it’s all going ok so far. I had a medical abortion 10 years ago and the pain wasn’t to bad x just have some painkillers and hot water bottle if you have one . I thought it was just like a bad period x

I'm going to be inserting the tablets soon. Very nervous. I have cocodamol and ibuprofen, I am planning to take 2 cocodamol and two ibuprofen. Do you think this will be sufficient pain relief? Unfortunately I haven't got a hot water bottle 😕

I mean I have read some bad stories myself so think it can vary a lot. Also as we all have different pain thresholds. But that sounds fine as co co codamol are quite strong . I think you will be fine. Is anyone there with you ? Can you have a rest after ? X

I put them in around 15 minutes ago, yes I have some support. I've taken 2 cocodamol and 2 ibuprofen. Thanks for the support x

Hi yes It went fine. A lot better than i had expected. Bloodloss is a lot less today and only having very minor period like cramps every so often. The actual abortion itself wasn't too bad, I suspect I was less than 6 weeks as it was more like a heavy period. Thanks for the support x
