I had a termination in December and didn't get my period until 3 months after. Since then I've been bleeding every 2 weeks and it's VERY heavy. I've never had heavy periods, usually a light one that lasts a few days, but this is absolutely ridiculous and I'm going through 4 super heavy tampons in half a day. TMI : every time I take them out blood goes absolutely everywhere and it's making me feel so sick as I'm not good with my own blood, the sight of it makes me lightheaded.
I had a late term termination a few years ago and everything was fine after. I've spoke to my mum about it and she said the drs wouldn't do anything apart from prescribe tranexamic acid if necessary. I'm really struggling to cope. I got put on the pill at 11 years old because I've never dealt with my periods well. Last time I got put on the pill I bled for 5 months non-stop so I'm worried about going back on it again, I haven't taken anything for a good few years now in fear it would happen again. I haven't left the house in over a week
