What was your bleeding like after surgical procedure?

I had a surgical procedure on Wednesday and tbh the bleeding had got lighter but today I’ve just had a little heavy bleed (nothing too heavy at the moment) but had a little pain and I’m wondering if that’s usual?

What was everyone else’s bleeding like?

I had surgery for a missed miscarriage last year and bleeding was very minimal after, definitely don’t remember getting bouts of heavy bleeding like I’m doing now and just a bit concerned.

I had mine exactly a week before you had yours, I had light bleeding for a day and then nothing for 2 or 3, then seemed to start a normal period that stopped again after 2 days, and now I just keep getting random heavy floods and then nothing at all, or just a tiny bit of blood wiping. I think my body is just trying to adjust and sort of reset, hopefully it’s normal for us both!

@Unsureaboutit9tba is for the reply. I do think it’s probably quite normal to get on and off bleeding, I’ve been reading through the booklet they gave me and it does say that so long as it’s not soaking through pads it’s quite normal to bleed up to 2 weeks, sometimes longer.

My bleeding seems to be back to very light flow now so hoping it continues.

I don't know how 😔 I had a surgical abortion 8 days ago and have had very minimal bleeding then this afternoon I had one random gush of blood I'm just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience, I rang the ward I was treated on and they didn't seem that bothered but I'm freaking out 😳 I don't know what to do

@Wins22 I had a procedure for a missed miscarriage which I think is the same as the procedure that you have had . The bleeding was light some days and heavy at times with what felt like gushing so I can understand you being worried. Have as much rest as possible and I found the bleeding worse if I didn't take it easy. Hope I've been of some help to you x
