Medical Abortion at 7 Weeks

Hello All,

I took my first half of a medical abortion on Wednesday at 7pm, and plan to take the second half this morning…

I am just completely freaking out about the pain… I know lots of people have commented saying that it was much less painful than they expected and some even saying it was the same as their period… But I read a thread of someone saying it was the most pain they have ever experienced and felt like she was being cut open from the inside out… And honestly it has stopped me taking this all morning!!!

Can someone please pep me up to do this and tell me it’s going to be ok? 🙈

Hi hun didn't want to read and run - honestly I think it's different for everyone but it was just like a heavy period for me. I did have cramping but manageable with painkillers and I have a low pain threshold - it's all over within hours as well so it won't be drawn out - here if you need me!

Thank you for replying!

I put the 4 tablets in at around 10:00. I think I’ve had some really really really mild cramping, but nothing major, and definitely no bleeding…

I so hope it works 😢

It took about 4 hours for me - and I think by then it was nearly time to put the last 2 in. Just put some Netflix on try to focus on something - I watched the entire season of love is blind (1 and 2!) and if you've taken your painkillers it will be ok x if you have any pain just remember it's temporary and it will pass x

Thank you - that makes me feel a bit better that it’s been 3 hours with not much happening!

I took the Diclofenac at 10:00, so I might take the Co-Codamol now, just in case!

Thanks for responding again! You have made me feel much better! X

Hey how you feeling x

Thank you for checking in, that’s really kind!

The pain has been on and off in waves since about 2pm, I didn’t need to take the extra two tablets, it started exactly on 4 hours like yours!

I’ve bled less than I thought I was going to also… Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing…

The whole experience is much better than I thought - but made much easier by the reassurance of others who have been through it ❤️

Good to hear you're ok Smile

I’m glad yours went ok I’m so worried about mine🥲💕

When is it @Destinae23 ?

Honestly, I am such an anxious person, I have a low pain threshold, I’m awful with medical procedures etc… So for me to say it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be, is massive! You will be absolutely fine ❤️
