Period after medical abortion

When did you get a period after medical abortion? I am 36 days post and I use have a period every 28 days. I understand it could take longer this time. However I totally thought it was coming late week as had unbearable period like pain but nothing came of it. Pregnancy tests are negative. What are your experiences please? Many thanks

I thought I was ovulating this week, four weeks post abortion, but I also had some mild cramping and spotting. Expecting a period two weeks from now then.

I think six weeks or longer is normal as your body settles.
