Second Pill Timings

Hi, I took the first tablet last night at 7pm. On the phone the Nupas nurse said you had to take it 36 hours later but the booklet that came with the pills said 24-48. Is there any reason why you wouldn’t take it at 24hours?

I’m also worried about how long it will take to start taking effect. Can anybody share their experience of how long it took after taking the second pills?

I think 24 hours is fine but I guess that would mean you’d be up all night really. Or have a broken sleep anyway. Which might be when you want to get it done but I took mine at 9am in the morning on a school day and by 5pm I was fine to eat dinner with my DC.

It took a couple of hours to start and the worst of it was done in four hours I’d say.

Thank you so much for the reply, I ended up taking them in the middle of the night to try and get the worst over with before the kids got up. It was no where near as bad as I thought it was going to be. I was glad I was at home…
