I think my medical abortion failed

Hi everyone I had a medical abortion 2 weeks ago, the scan said I was 5 weeks(although I could literally feel and see my tummy move or could I have been further along?) I passed some cloths had terrible cramps and bled for a week, but now my tummy is still moving, especially when I ate something... I read everyone saying one should wait about 3 weeks... to retest as I did a test yesterday that had a faint 2nd line... Anyone else had such an experience🙏🏽🙏🏽

Your tummy moving after you’ve eaten is peristalsis. Your bowel moving.

@GeneLovesJezebel I'm aware of that , it's constantly moving throughout the day it just moves more intensely after eating...

You wouldn’t feel movement or a flutter at five weeks op. Pretty much you’d not feel that before sixteen weeks and often much later.

Maybe see your gp as it will be your bowel. Could you be nervous and focusing on it?

If the line is only faint 2 weeks post medication I'd say it had probably worked Flowers

At roughly 7 weeks pregnant one would expect to see a really clear, dark line that appears quickly. Squinters are really only a thing super early on.

You won't be feeling baby movement at 7 - 8 weeks, even women who've had babies before won't feel movement til much later than that, there's just nothing there to feel at that point.

If you are worried I would contact the service provider you used and ask for advice x

A scan at 5 weeks couldn’t be wrong by more than a few days so you deff weren’t further along. Stomach moving doesn’t happen until quite far into a pregnancy. And the line wouldn’t have gotten fainter if the abortion had failed. It’s a difficult process to go though so it’s no wonder your mind is playing tricks on you, I’m sure the aftercare line would happily talk though your concerns with you Flowers
