Hi I'm new here but I am wondering if anyone could give me some advice please so I found out I was pregnant on Tuesday last week on the Wednesday I rang up to get an abortion I had my booking and consultation on the same day and the nurse will be sending the abortion pill by post this is all with NUPAS so I'm just waiting to receive them in the post and then I can get started with the process I have major anxiety so I keep working myself up in a state and thinking the worst does anyone have any advice to make this easier for me as I know it's 100% the right choice I'm just scared of the unknown I guess , thanks x

You will take one pill which can make you feel sick and off. This blocks the pregnancy hormone.

Then you will have 4-6 pills 24 hours later which cause the uterus to contact and start bleeding. They should provide pain relieve as part of the package that arrives.

It’s honestly not that bad as your so early on. I would just make sure you have someone to look after your DC so you can relax and process it all as much as possible. Then you take a pregnancy test 2-3 weeks later and it should be negative.

Thankyou for your reply , honestly feeling anxious because im having the abortion pill posted by post and the wait is 5-7 days im already on day 5 so hopefully not much longer now because im so emotional and on edge I just want it over with sorry if that sounds bad and my anxiety keeps trying to get it into my head that the pills won't turn up and I won't get the help I need
