I have recently had a surgical termination, I was 12 weeks, I was told I could only have local anaesthetic as I was driving myself home after but I have a high BMI. I know that local anaesthetic doesn’t work on me, when I’ve been to the dentist it never works and I can feel allll the pain, but I went ahead with this option for the termination anyway because it was my only option. The pain caused me to faint, and I have a high pain threshold. Does anyone else have this issue with anaesthetic not working for them at all? Are there other ways around the issue, I currently have an impacted wisdom tooth and I’m terrified of getting it removed when I know I will be able to feel everything and getting fillings was agony in the past. Help
