Hi guys, I need your advice regarding the effects of the morning after pill….
I’m 32, married with a 2.5 year old but we had a ‘slip up’ the the other day and we’re not ready for another child yet so I went to the pharmacy and bought ‘Ella One’ over the counter. I knew it was going to mess my period up but I never realised it was going to do it to this extent as I’ve took the morning after pill before and this has never happened.
My first period after the pill was 5 days late, which is completely understandable and what I was expecting. Then 15 days later I started spotting for 4 days, which lead straight into a heavy 5 day period (a lot earlier then when it was due), Which I only finished 4 days ago and I’ve started bleeding again today. Is this completely normal for this morning after pill?! How long can the effects last for?
Any help advice would be greatly appreciated.
