Is this normal for a medical abortion?

Hi there. I took the mifepristone tablets on Monday evening and the two lots of misoprostol through the day on Wednesday.

Wednesday evening I had some quite strong cramping, period like bleeding with a couple of small (5p sized) clots.

Since then I’ve had medium cramping everyday and the bleeding has remained fairly constant.

My breasts are still very sore although I think my nausea is easing.

I think I expected a more dramatic loss and for things to then tailor off quite quickly as they did when I had a medically managed miscarriage. It seems to be dragging on and I just wondered if this was normal or if maybe something isn’t right.

How far along were you? As long as you feel generally well and aren’t passing clots larger than a lemon then this sounds to be within what is considered normal, obviously trust your gut and get proper medical advice if you think it’s needed. x
