Hi Momas.
I'm currently 6+4 weeks pregnant and after careful discussion and thought have made the decision to opt for a termination due to various factors.
My telephone consultation with BPAS was this morning and my tablets are due over the coming days for the procedure at home.

If possible I was wondering if anyone having gone through this could share their experiences please - good or bad?
Part of my reason for having a child not being right for us at the moment is my crippling anxiety, which of course is now spilling over into "what if the worst happens". I know its the right thing to do, but the fear of the unknown is becoming increasingly daunting.
Partner is brilliant and will be taking time off work to be there for me and the kids.

Thank you 💛

Hi OP, I opted for a termination around 5 years ago for similar to you. I found the experience ok to be honest, cramping and bleeding within a couple of hours of the second pill, probably a night of feeling a bit fluey and period pains with bleeding but by the next morning the pain was barely noticeable and I passed the foetus whilst on the toilet. Bled like an ordinary period for a day or two, then fully recovered in 5 days. I hope it goes as straightforwardly for you. Here for a handhold if you need it Flowers
