Ask about surgical abortion with local anesthesia

Hello,
I have an appoinment with BPAS for an abortion i was very nervous about local anesthesia prodecure.I wish i had an general anesthesia but i did’nt got choice.Please can you ladies share your experiences.is that painful injecting anesthesia into the cervix??
