I'm currently 36 yrs old and 18 weeks pregnant with DC2. I definitely want to stop at 2. I suffer horrendously with pregnancy- Hyperemesis and SPD and I cannot endure another pregnancy. I feel lucky to have two healthy children.
My hubby has said he'd get the snip but I can tell he is really squeamish about it and I think it might affect him. His friend recently had the snip and really went on about recovery and pain. Obviously it doesn't compare to childbirth but as it's really my decision not to have anymore children I thought I would ask if anyone has any experiences of female sterilisation and whether it resulted in heavier periods. It affected my mum in this way. Any experiences would be helpful. Thanks.
