Currently sat at BPAS waiting to go in for my surgical termination.
I took my first tablet yesterday at 8am which is meant to soften my cervix. It made me feel very sick and dizzy but the side effects seem to be gone this morning which is all good.
I’m going to pop some updates on here as I go through it and after so I can reassure any other woman that comes across this thread in the future.

Appointment was meant to be at 8am. Just been taken into a room where they checked my blood pressure. Signed the consent form and took two ibuprofen. The midwife was lovely and really chatty. Feeling slightly less nervous now.

Thanks @SW1amp
It’s all done.
I’m not going to lie it definitely wasn’t pain free. More uncomfortable than anything.
I had it done under local.
The nurses and the surgeon was absolutely wonderful and such a great support.
The whole thing took around 15 minutes from start to finish. They took me into a recovery area for half an hour just to check I wasn’t bleeding heavily. Which I’m not.
Currently I have some stomach cramps. Similar to period pains. I’m light spotting bleeding wise. And I feel okay.
