Incomplete termination?

Hi, looking for some advice or to hear from anyone who’s had a similar experience please.

I had a medical termination 4 weeks ago. It all went as expected and have been feeling fine since. I took my check pregnancy test earlier this week and it was strongly positive, plus a couple of Poundland cheapies which have been the same. Also, I haven’t really stopped bleeding since the procedure, although it’s pretty light now, like the end of a period. I spoke to the clinic and they are concerned that I may have retained some tissue, and may need antibiotics or some kind of treatment. My problem is that they’re offering me an appointment to be scanned at a clinic which is over two and a half hours away from where I live. Apparently there isn’t anywhere closer for me to see a doctor. I feel fine so am considering just carrying on for now and hoping it’s ok. I don’t really know what else to do, in my current situation it’s going to be extremely difficult for me to make a 5 hour at least round trip. Will my GP be able to help me? 111? I don’t really know where to turn.

Have you got a local hospital? If so, your GP may refer you for a scan if the hospital has the facility?

I would get scanned. I had this situation left it and when it was removed I haemorrhaged because it had been attached for so long.

Sorry to jump on

What did you end up doing? I had a failed one was bad enough then took second lot of pills as they said damage may abve been done etc took them and this hasn't worked either called them up and to go tomorrow for a scan as they said second lot doesn't sound like worked. Said I maybe one of the unfortunate ones who these pills don't work for. Needing advise

I had an incomplete surgical and ended up haemorrhaging and ended up in A&E. I had to have a scan, a night in hospital, and very strong antibiotics. Please look after yourself and seek advice - either from the clinic or ask for an appointment at your GP. If the clinic is too far ask the GP to refer you to your local gynaecology dept ASAP.
