Hello!
Has anyone ever been prescribed Co-amoxiclav for an infection post medical abortion? Was seen by the OOH GP yesterday.
Hasn't been diagnosed as PID but I was under the impression metronidazole and doxy etc were more commonly used for these kind of infections. I spoke to my GP this morning who reassured me that co amoxiclav should cover me but I'm super nervous it won't.
I've been really traumatised by the whole process and I'm so scared I'm going to end up septic in a&e.
