Abortion after 15 weeks?

Please please no judgement. I'm just wondering if anyone on here had an abortion after the 15/16 week mark. Not through anything being wrong with the baby, just because you decided to end the pregnancy. I'm struggling so much with this pregnancy I really think I'm going to have to make the choice as I can't live like this much longer.

Hi, I can't offer advice but just wanted to say I am also 15 weeks and considering the same. The thought of it is making me feel awful.

I haven’t been in this situation but I can imagine how tough it must be
Have you explored professional help regarding this?

@lulu19502 sorry to hear you're in the same boat. What is making you consider it, if you don't mind me asking? x

Sorry to hear you are feeling this way. What is occurring?
I had a termination at 8 weeks. I felt it wasn’t right to continue and had low mood and increased anxiety. It arrived as soon as had a positive test. All a bit odd as never thought that would be my reaction.
Sending you kindness.x

Talking it through with a professional might be helpful for you, to gain better clarity and peace of mind around your decision. For example:

Is this something you’d consider? Sending best wishes.

@ElephantsNest. I agree. A professional ear could be very helpful.

I had one at that stage, physically it was fine as I was asleep in the procedure but mentally it was very tough for a while. I hope you are ok Flowers

I had one at 12 weeks so can't give you exactly the advice you want but it was a very straightforward procedure, nowhere near as terrifying and awful as I was worried it would be. The pregnancy was making me suffer mentally too. Good luck, whatever you decide. Flowers

hiya, I had one at 16 weeks because my medical failed and it took me weeks to realise... so by the time they got me in for my surgical I was basically 3 months gone 🤦🏻‍♀️ x
