Ending planned pregnancy

Really hoping for some advice.

Started trying for a baby and fell pregnant the first month. Since around 7 weeks (now 10) I have been in agony. In and out of a&e with severe kidney / bladder pain. Doctors are unable to do CT or MRI scan to find out what's wrong so I get topped up with morphine and sent away until it returns, they have no long term plan and can't say if it's pregnancy related.

I cannot continue. I'm thinking of ending the pregnancy and taking some time off even thinking of TTC. Get healthy. Get my mental health back on track.

Don't know what I'm looking for except maybe others thoughts?

Why have you concluded that the pregnancy is causing these problems? Did the doctors tell you you would be pain-free if you abort or am I missing the point?

@Scrunchy95 they can't do CT or MRI scans in pregnancy so they aren't able to find out what is wrong whilst I'm pregnant.

I'm assuming that if she is no longer pregnant they could investigate the pain further?

Oh gosh, I'd understand the decision to abort. I'm so sorry you are in this situation! (flowers)

Have they done an ultrasound and bloods? That would rule out a whole host of problems. Have they checked for infection? I would probably try and speak to your GP and tell them how desperate your feeling.

What an awful situation for you. I agree, I would discuss with your GP how desperate you are feeling. They may be able to consider more investigations as the poster above has noted, or advocate on your behalf.
